Chicago / Huntington

To Huntington: Yoshinori Wang Laynce Bundy and 1million dollars

Huntington sure has been busy, trying to free up that cap space to try and sign their first round pick. As they should be they could definitely use another large bat in the system. Chicago receives a decent bullpen arm in Rushford, however at 2mil for 2 years for 40 innings a year I'm not sure if thats a great investment. Espada is an average long relief arm with a low price tag, but the key to the deal for Chicago is bringing back their long lost son, Rabbit Garcia, whom they traded away a couple of seasons ago. Garcia is a high quality young bullpen arm. In return the Heartthrobs acquire Bundy, and Wang who will never make the bigs, however the shedding of the Rushford contract and receiving 1 million dollars is exactly what Shipoopi was after here. This deal boils down to, Garcia and Rushford was bought for 1mil this year and 2mil next year.I think thats a solid investment for Chicago, and the cap space for Chicago still doesn't mean anything until that pick gets signed.

Verdict: Chicago 51% (2 vetoes out of 10). note the assumption on vetoes is because some owners have a no cash for players policy
